Fancy an extended test drive of a new Audi A6 through NSW countryside but stuck inside due to lockdown rules?

Audi has brought the test drive to you! "The Drive" is a 4-hour "slow TV" film available on Facebook and YouTube that allows viewers to experience the soothing nature of a long road trip from the confines of their own home (in Audi's words).

What is slow TV, you ask? The term is used for a genre of films showing an ordinary event in its complete length.

The film was shot in the NSW Central Tablelands and uses multiple cameras to replicate the experience of driving the car. There's music accompaniment by composer John Hassell, from his studio in France, where he is currently in isolation.

'The Drive' is available to watch on Monday, April 6th at 14:00 AEST on Audi Australia Facebook and YouTube channels.
